Yesterday I took my mum, who’s over visiting me, on a day trip to Bex, a town in Switzerland famous for its salt mines. After the guided tour of the mines we decided to treat ourselves to a meal at the restaurant on site. As a lacto-vegetarian, I’m used to having to go for a salad and/or a cheese dish when I eat out. I did ask about just having side dishes but it wasn’t an option.
